Why choose a USA Pickleball sanctioned event? Sanctioned events are held by tournament directors who have agreed to meet and abide by the sanctioning requirements of USA Pickleball, the sport’ s National Governing Body. The tournament director and the players who participate in a sanctioned event are eligible to receive the benefits associated with sanctioning, including UTR-P ratings, approved formats and event insurance.
