The 10-day event featured nearly 28,000 fans and won the Racquet Sports Industry Magazine award for ‘ Pickleball Tournament of the Year ’ due to its impact on the sport .

The pandemic resulted in the cancellation of events around the globe and the 2020 Nationals did not take place .
2021
National Championships featured 2,342 players , 3,944 matches , 87 USA Pickleball certified referees and 172 brackets . Fourteen-year-old phenom Anna Leigh Waters became the youngest player to win at Nationals .
2022
Held at Indian Wells , drawing nearly 2,300 registered players over 5,500 fans turned out at the largest-ever pickleball attendance in history which aired on ESPNU .
2023
50,000 people attended the biggest event in the history of the sport . Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas featured 6,928 matches with players from 49 states . Over 2.6 million TV viewers watched coverage on ESPN .

2024

This year pays homage to USA Pickleball ’ s rich history with a return to the Valley of the Sun at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa . The top pickleball players from across the nation will compete at the 300-acre complex .
