Drew Brees and Keegan- Michael Key Team Up for Charity at NOLA Pickle Fest

The 2nd Annual NOLA Pickle Fest , hosted by NFL legend Drew Brees , recently wrapped up another successful year of pickleball action and fundraising in New Orleans . Benefiting the Brees Dream Foundation , the event brought together nearly 500 players and a host of sponsors for four days of exciting tournament play at the Ernest N . Morial Convention Center . The festival also included a VIP grand opening event at Brees ’ newest venture , Pickle N Pins . This unique entertainment venue features pickleball courts , padel , arcade games , duckpin bowling , axe throwing , yard games , and endless opportunities for parties , corporate events and tournaments .
The highlight of Pickle Fest was a celebrity match played in front of hundreds of cheering fans , with the court transformed into a vibrant spectacle with decor from Mardi Gras World and a colorful
Mardi Gras float adding to the festive atmosphere . Comedic actor Keegan-Michael Key joined Brees on the court , bringing his signature humor to the competition . In a playful twist , Brees even swapped his paddle for a frying pan to face off against the winning team of the Midnight Madness sponsors tourney , creating a truly unforgettable and entertaining moment for everyone in attendance .
In an exciting announcement during the event , Brees revealed that he will take on tennis legend Andre Agassi at the 3rd Annual NOLA Pickle Fest , scheduled for Aug . 7-10 , 2025 .
