While the PPA tour has eliminated the backdraw for professionals , therefore decreasing the number of matches for players in one day , the physical demands of playing amateur tournaments are still very much a challenge . While amateurs may not have the time to prepare as well as professionals in terms of their conditioning , there are steps you can take a few days prior to the tournament as well as during the tournament to maximize your physical potential .
