The 2023 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships powered by Invited and the PPA Tour smashed records with 50,000 attendees and 2.6 million TV viewers tuning in during the tournament to catch coverage on ESPN , Tennis Channel and PickleballTV during the seven-day event at the Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas .
Sixteen-year-old Anna Leigh Waters earned her record 20th Triple Crown ( winning singles , doubles and mixed doubles ) in front of a sold-out crowd on Championship Court .
JW Johnson took home the men ’ s singles title after taking down Jaume Martinez Vich in a hard-fought , three-game matchup .
World No . 1 players Ben Johns and Anna Leigh Waters won their 14th mixed doubles gold medal of the year , besting No . 2 seeds James Ignatowich and Anna Bright in three games . Ben and Collin Johns claimed victory over JW Johnson and Dylan Frazier and Anna Leigh Waters and Catherine Parenteau were flawless , earning a victory over sixth-seeded sisters Mary and Maggie Brascia .

In the Senior Pro competition , Steve Rogers took the title in men ’ s senior pro singles , and No . 1 senior pro Jennifer Dawson took gold in women ’ s senior pro singles . Nathalie Bagby and Lily Kordic took home gold in women ’ s senior pro doubles and the duo Dayne Gingrich and Altaf Merchant took the title in senior pro men ’ s doubles .
PickleballTV ( PBTV ) also made its debut at Nationals . Tennis Channel and the Carvana Professional Pickleball Association ( PPA ) Tour launched this 24-hour network completely devoted to America ’ s fastest-growing sport , available on Amazon Freevee and Fubo .
