COME TO EUROPE THIS SUMMER — PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENTS ARE BACK !
Pickleball England likes to provide a list of all tournaments and events that might be attractive to pickleball players . As I was updating the list , I was struck by how many tournaments and festivals are taking place this year . Clearly , the country associations are feeling confident that COVID-19 is no longer a barrier and that there is a lot of pent-up demand for competition among players .
Given the number of tournaments , this summer would be ideal for travellers from the U . S . and rest of the world to head to Europe — an opportunity to soak up the history , architecture , food and pickleball !
European tournament directors and players would love to welcome overseas players to their tournaments . It ’ s an opportunity for players to compare their skills and talents against players they have never met before , and swap pickleball stories and experiences . It ’ s also a well-known fact that European players love their afterpickleball socializing , too ! Ask anyone who has played in Europe — they have made lifelong friends and happy memories .
There are so many tournaments you can squeeze two or three into your trip .
