I ’ m an avid Pickleball player , or as my family characterizes me , a Pickleball Nut , I was eager to interview Jim Thomas and Tom Konkowski regarding their Espire Sports™ project . Both men were equally excited to tell me about their plans , and I can ’ t wait to see the finished complex . I think you ’ ll share the excitement after you read this article .
Jim Thomas launched into the conversation , “ While Espire Sports™ is a multi-sport complex with emphasis on Pickleball , it also provides a multitude of entertainment , fitness and wellness activities that will appeal to everyone . To complement the full slate of activities , the complex design includes an incredible restaurant and a Luxury RV & Cottages Resort .”
Tom Konkowski continued , “ This will be a premier Pickleball facility and destination resort that will attract players and tournaments from all over the country . With a total of 24 Courts : 10 indoor courts with an outdoor surface , and 14 covered outdoor courts , players will always finish their matches regardless of weather .”
The complex will attract guests from far and wide to enjoy their choice of 78 Luxury RV spaces and 42 Cottages that will accommodate different sized family groups complete with fully equipped kitchens , dining areas , and living rooms . The restaurant and sports bar includes a 6500 square foot covered patio where players can play ping pong , bags , shuffleboard or just enjoy drinks by the fire .
In addition to Pickleball courts , the Espire Sports™ 55,000 square foot building will feature a Workout Facility , Virtual Golf Simulators , Basketball , Volleyball , Badminton , Futsal , and separate rooms for Yoga , Massage , and Physical Therapy . In the lounge areas there will be pool tables and conference rooms available for group gatherings .
Thomas explained , “ Good gets even better .
