E
veryone knows
by now that Vulcan
Pickleball is one of the
more exciting emerging
brands in our sport. In 2019,
it launched a complete line of
performance paddles at many price
points plus portable nets, gear bags,
grips, accessories, and apparel.
Then Vulcan stunned many by
announcing an impressive group of
high-profile Team Vulcan sponsored
pros, including Tyler
Loong, Corrine Carr,
Gizmo Hall, and Daniel
De La Rosa. It even
built a state-of-the-art
“Vulcan Pickleball Park”
at company headquarters
in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
By all accounts, Vulcan
seems to be taking
pickleball very seriously.
But now in 2020, we are
starting to see something

different—Vulcan also likes to
have fun!
Vulcan Sporting Goods Co. is
now launching a second pickleball
brand called Paddle Candy which,
according to company sources,
allows the marketing team to
express their more whimsical side
while connecting with players who
share their enthusiasm for the fun,
social, and sometimes silly aspects
of playing pickleball. However, these
same sources are very quick to add
that Paddle Candy is powered by
Vulcan, meaning these are serious,
high-performance paddles that just
happen to look cool!
