By Hope Tolley USAPA Director of Recreational Programs H ere’s a sneak peek of a new resource for pickleball providers from the USAPA Recreational Programs and Services Department. The USAPA Let’s Play Youth Pickleball Playbook is designed to help teachers, recreation leaders, after-school staff, coaches and ambassadors implement pickleball in any recreational setting, including schools, parks, youth centers and racquet/paddle facilities. This resource provides teachers and pickleball leaders with fun games, skill activities, play rotations and play manager tips for offering a dynamic program. Included in the playbook are additional recommendations regarding equipment, space and resources necessary to offer a successful pickleball program. Printed copies, along with a set of laminated dynamic station signs for large group instruction, are available for purchase at https://www.usapa.org/recplay-resources/. Printed copies and laminated station signs will be a benefit of the new Community Membership category (coming soon). A free, downloadable copy will be offered as a benefit of Youth Pickleball Provider Registration, available in the upcoming months. • OVE R THE LINE DINK Dink ba ck and forth Partne rs imagin stand approx ary lin imatel y 10 fe dink ba e between th em.
