Biggs said she’s equally as enthusiastic to bring the same features tennis players have enjoyed for decades to the pickleball community, “We are very excited to add pickleball to our software platform. We’ve been the industry leader in both tennis and platform tennis for 20 years and we look forward to serving pickleball players with the same passion and commitment.” The website offers players and organizers several easy-to-navigate modules to choose from, each with the ability to keep track of a player’s ranking accurately. n Leagues - The league module allows you to put together a team to compete against others in your local area. Play results are stored and can be accessed by everyone in the league at any time. Administrators can set up as many boxes as they like, drawing from groups of players of similar ability. Box Leagues n Ladders - You can build a challenge ladder for everyone in your club, singles and/or doubles, whether you have eight players, 80 players or 800 players. The ladders challenge players to move up, and are a fun and competitive way to improve your game. The league administrator can set the number of positions players can challenge on a weekly basis. For example, if the ladder is capped at three rungs, the No. 5 team would be able to challenge the No. 2 team, but no higher. Continued on next page > Ladders JANUARY/FEBRUARY 2019 | MAGAZINE 33
