Biggs said she’s equally as enthusiastic to bring
the same features tennis players have enjoyed for
decades to the pickleball community, “We are very
excited to add pickleball to our software platform.
We’ve been the industry leader in both tennis and
platform tennis for 20 years and we look forward to
serving pickleball players with the same passion and
commitment.”
The website offers players and organizers several
easy-to-navigate modules to choose from, each
with the ability to keep track of a player’s ranking
accurately.
n Leagues - The league module allows you to
put together a team to compete against others in
your local area. Play results are stored and can be
accessed by everyone in the league at any time.
These leagues are part of a point system that allows
each participant to receive an accurate rating for
his/her games. Your rating will fluctuate based
on the result of your league matches, providing a
more accurate measurement than a simple self-
assessment.
Leagues
n Flex Leagues - Flex leagues are similar to Box
leagues except they are comprised of 10 doubles
teams. Your team plays every other team in the
league one time, whenever you want within a given
time frame. This option works for leagues where
players prefer fresh competition, but their busy
schedules get in the way.
Flex Leagues
n Box Leagues - Want a guarantee that you can
play others at your level every week? Box leagues
do just that. Boxes can be from four to 10 teams set
against an open time frame. Each team plays each
other one time, moving up and down the rankings
according to the match outcomes—last place drops
down to a lower box, first place moves up to the
next highest box. Administrators can set up as many
boxes as they like, drawing from groups of players of
similar ability.
Box Leagues
n Ladders - You can build a challenge ladder for
everyone in your club, singles and/or doubles,
whether you have eight players, 80 players or 800
players. The ladders challenge players to move up,
and are a fun and competitive way to improve your
game. The league administrator can set the number
of positions players can challenge on a weekly basis.
For example, if the ladder is capped at three rungs,
the No. 5 team would be able to challenge the No. 2
team, but no higher.
