TOURNAMENT
MOVES INSIDE!
riffin, Georgia, has been a terrific
host to the Atlantic South Regional
Tournament for the past two years,
but organizers are changing things
up for 2019. The three-day tournament,
which begins Aug. 23, is moving indoors to
the Foley Event Center in Foley, Alabama.
The 90,000-sq.-ft. venue allows for 18 indoor
courts on a textured glare-free floor with
excellent lighting and bleacher seating at
each court. The tournament hotel is right
next door to the venue, and there are lots of
other attractions to keep everyone happy,
including an amusement park, retail, dining
and entertainment—just a short walk away.
And, the Gulf beaches are about 15 minutes
from the event. Tournament registration opens
April 1.
