ARE SWEEPING THE NATION
WITH NINE MILLION RVS TRAVELING
THE COUNTRY, THE POTENTIAL GROWTH
OF PICKLEBALL IS TREMENDOUS.
By Alan Neff
What was once a nice perk at an
RV park has now become one of the
most requested amenities. Old or
underutilized tennis courts are being
rapidly converted to pickleball courts
at a staggering rate. New parks no
longer build tennis courts but rather
four, six or eight pickleball courts in
the same space.
According to the Family Motor
Coach Association (FMCA), there
are approximately nine million RVs
traveling all over the country—a
mind-boggling math equation that
evolves into tremendous growth
potential for pickleball throughout
the U.S. and Canada.
