Choosing a pickleball paddle can be a confusing task . With hundreds of paddle manufacturers and countless shapes and models , how do you narrow your choices to the one that is right for you — and for your skill level ? Maybe you ’ ve outgrown the beginner paddle you bought when you first started playing pickleball and you ’ re ready for something more suited to your developing skill set . Or maybe you want to confirm that the paddle you ’ ve been using for a long time is still right for you .
There are several factors you need to consider to help with your paddle choice . The more you know about your own game , the easier it is to zero in on the best paddle for you . Of course , if you are just a beginner , you won ’ t yet know a lot of your preferences until you play some more . Remember , these usually do change with experience , but do the best you can for now .
