In 2023 , we are ramping up market sampling and testing to better address the recent proliferation of high-specification equipment , as well as ensure that paddles certified prior to the introduction of tests since 2020 continue to be manufactured to original specification throughout their life cycles . This is modeled after similar programs in other racket and paddle sports .
These efforts are intended to continue improving USA Pickleball ’ s support and direction to the pickleball ecosystem in delivering consistency in equipment performance to a rapidly growing market .
