RESTRUCTURE for 2018

T
he USAPA board of directors is pleased to present the
new, expanded USAPA Regional allocations. The new
regional map (see below) will go into effect January 1,
2018. The redesign of the USAPA regions has been a team
effort between the current USAPA regional directors, the
managing director of competition (Christine Barksdale)
and the USAPA ambassador chair (CJ Jermstad).

to establish a solid team of people within the new regions.
This is critical as we look to grow and expand the sport in
these areas.
The USAPA board feels that by restructuring the regions,
we are able to:
• Further grow the sport by allowing the ambassadors
and regional directors to focus on smaller regions and
be even closer to the pickleball population.
• Centralize USAPA Regional Tournaments to bring
them closer to home for many players.
• Prepare for local league play that will include local,
state, regional and national events.
• Create smaller areas for the growth and development
of the USAPA referee program.
USAPA will have additional information when available.
