GATHERED TO
CELEBRATE NEW
OCEAN PINES
PICKLEBALL COURTS
O
cean Pines has become a premier pickleball
destination on the Maryland coast with the grand
opening of new pickleball courts on May 27. What was
previously two tennis courts at the Manklin Meadows
Racquet Sports Complex has been transformed into eight
beautiful dedicated pickleball courts.
Original founders Julie Woulfe, Frank Creamer and
Bob O’Malley, along with the other officers of the board,
worked with the Ocean Pines Association Board over the
past six years to bring their dream to fruition.
Starting out as a handful of folks, the club has grown to
over 300 players, including an estimated 120 members.
Being a resort area, it also attracts many people looking for
a place to play while on vacation. •
