hen first presenting USAPA
with the idea of live streaming
pickleball matches, we had no idea how
video streaming would be accepted.
Last year, we and other USAPA stream
team members Melissa McCurley,
Dave Weinbach and Stephanie Lane
conducted trial broadcasts at the
Tournament of Champions, Royal Oak
Michigan, USAPA Nationals VIII and
Las Vegas. The reaction was immediate,
with matches being viewed throughout
the United States and Mexico. The team
is working on the 2017 schedule, which
will be announced soon. •
