The 6th International Conference on Women in Physics (ICWIP2017)

In a quest to foster the participation of Women in Physics and come up with global strategies for increasing their
representation, the IUPAP Conferences series on Women in Physics, organised the 6th International Conference
on Women in Physics (ICWIP) at the University of Birmingham (UK) during the period 16 – 20 July 2017. Over
200 delegates from 60 countries attended the conference. The conference is unusual in that it relies on Country
Teams of limited size, selected through Physical Societies in each country. The conference is attended by teams of
