Speedy Szechuan Steak
1 lb flank steak , cut into thin strips 1 tsp minced garlic ½ tsp crushed red pepper ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce 2 tsp cornstarch 1 tsp sugar 2 tsp sesame oil 2 cups fresh sugar snap peas
1 . Combine steak , garlic , and red pepper flakes in a bowl ; toss well to coat . In small bowl combine soy sauce , corn starch , and sugar , stirring with whisk until smooth .
2 . Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium high heat . Add sugar snap peas to pan and stir-fry for 1 minute . Add seasoned meat to pan and stir-fry for 2 minutes . Add soy sauce mixture to pan and stir-fry 1 minute until sauce begins to thicken .
3 . Serve over brown rice or in a leaf of lettuce for a lettuce wrap .
