Renown Health Foundation received a significant gift from longtime partner Greater Nevada Credit Union( GNCU) in support of Renown Children’ s Hospital. The generous gift from GNCU will improve care for newborns and their families on Renown’ s Labor & Delivery floor by expanding access to safe sleep and comfort while in the hospital. Renown Health’ s Labor & Delivery Center, located at Renown Regional is nationally ranked for maternity care and delivers more babies annually than any other hospital in the region.
As another substantial aspect of this gift, GNCU will also donate 4,500 piggy banks in gift boxes for babies, as a gift to the new families when they leave the Postpartum unit. This gesture promotes financial wellness and helps families launch their newborn’ s financial savings journey.
