Dr . Frieda Hulka is the esteemed recipient of the 2023 Arthur J . Lurie , MD , Distinguished Physician Award . Through Renown Health Foundation , this prestigious accolade — honoring humanitarian , medical and community service — was first presented in 2007 and is named after the late Dr . Arthur J . Lurie .
Dr . Hulka , chosen unanimously by the selection committee , embodies the spirit of Dr . Lurie ' s legacy through her work as the Pediatric Trauma Program Medical Director at Renown Health .
