Disclosure & Barring Service
All applicants for the PTI specialisation will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service clearance prior to entry in to service.
Selection
After passing the Defence Aptitude Assessment, medical and a fitness test, you will spend 1.5 days at the School of Physical Training, RAF Cosford undertaking a PTI Specialist Vetting.
You will be assessed on the following elements:
• Junior Non-Commissioned Potential and Personal Qualities
• Physical Fitness
• An Aerobic Endurance Assessment
• Regiment Applicant Fitness Test
• Transferable Motor Skills
• Functional Movement Screening
• Presentation Skills
• Swimming Ability
