After trying to figure out all day what to do we finally decided to head to the balloon festival for some people watching and picture taking. Me and my friend Simon had thrown ideas half the day about what it is we were going to do for the day.

“What do you want to do?” I asked as I looked up into his big blue eyes.

“I really don’t care, we just need to pick something. We do this every time, we bicker about what to do and then end up not doing anything at all.”

We’ve been friend since freshman year of High School. with his amazing drawing skills, therefore motivating me to do better work when i am with him. But I’ve always been more of a photographer than painter or a drawer, that’s why we work so well together. I’m good at my things, he’s good at his and we rarely intertwine our work.

That’s was until we decided to go to the balloon festival in Auburn, Maine, which is about thirty minutes away from home. We both hadn’t been in a long while so we decided to go and check it out. I grabbed both of my cameras in hopes to take some black and white film photos, along with some digital photos. We walked around for a while, seeing the different people who had also attended the festival.
