Introducción
C on esta libreta pretendemos
animarle a salir a recorrer nuestros
jardines y senderos para descubrir la
variada avifauna presente en el lugar.
Y es que sabemos que estudios re-
cientes han catalogado la observación
de aves como un entretenimiento a
la alza, debido a sus beneficios para
mejorar el estrés, la salud mental, la
memoria, la agilidad visual, la capaci-
dad física y la inspiración artística.
Comenzar quizás parezca difícil pero
realmente no lo es. Lo ideal es usar
unos binoculares o cámara, pero a
simple vista usted ya va a poder
identificar espe-
cies de gran
tamaño, como
las pavas cresta-
das, los pavones
y los tucanes.
Sin embargo en
cada intento ust-
ed podrá identifi-
car más especies.

En este material les presentamos al-
gunas de las aves más comunes en el
Hotel Campo Verde y aunque algu-
na no siempre se observa, tiene al-
tas probabilidades de ser encontrada.
Recuerde que muchas aves son
migratorias y no se encuentran
todo el año en el mismo lugar.
También ocurre que a ve-
ces los colores pueden verse
diferentes en función de la luz
del día, especialmente en aves
con plumajes iridiscentes, como
colibríes, trogones y momotos.
Comparta sus avistamien-
tos con otros clientes y co-
laboradores del hotel para
poder conocer más de
su historia natural y
que otras personas
puedan disfrutar de
sus descubrimientos.

Introduction
With this booklet we would like
to encourage you to go out to vi-
sit our gardens and trails in order
to discover the wide diversity of
birds present in the area. We know
that recent studies have cataloged
bird watching as a growing hobby
to enjoy during your leisure time
or holidays, due to its benefits to
improve stress, mental health,
memory, visual agility, physical
ability and artistic inspiration.
Starting may seem difficult but
it really is not. The most rec-
ommended is to use a pair of
binoculars or a camera, but at a
glance you will already be able to
identify large species, such as cres-
ted guans, curassaws and toucans.
However, in each attempt you
can identify more species.
In this material you could find
some of the most common
birds of the property.
But not all of them can be find here
during all the days of the year, some
are migratory. Sometimes happen thar
the color of the picture is not exactly
the same than the color of the bird,
depending of the hour of the day,
the sunlight, specially in birds with
irisdiscent nanoesructural colors like
trogons and hummingbirds.
