* Have a playful approach. Don't make them pose, make them play instead. Peekabooh always works.
* Tickle them or let them tickle each other.
* Offer a reward. I always bring bubbles or balloons. And during the shoot I will tell them that I have a surprise for them they will get at the end of the shoot.
( but of course bubbles and balloons are also great during the shoot :-))
