up becoming great friends and Jon
came up with the idea to do a photo
workshop at Mt. Everest base camp
in Nepal. We planned it out, opened
it to our audiences and it sold out
within less than a minute. Truly one
of the most surreal moments ever.
This is where my international pho-
to tours go back to. Since then I’ve
brought photographers to Canada,
Nepal, Tibet, Berlin, Ireland, Japan,
Ethiopia, Iceland, Greenland, Bhutan,
Siberia, Norway, Greenland and Sval-
bard, just to name a few. And it still
feels like this is just getting started.
There are so many amazing places
on our planet that I haven’t seen yet.
With all this under your belt, you
wouldn’t have much time left, yet
you are also an author. Tell us about

I’ve written The Film Photography
Handbook together with my better
half Monika. Actually she deserves
most of the
