Time Lapse of Career:
By hard working, she made her entry in Bengal Cricket Team.
At the age of 19, she made her first debut on 2002 in an ODI against England in Chennai.
Her test international debut on 14th January,2002.against
England in Lucknow and her T20 debut was on 2006 in Derby.
She along with Mitali Raj guided Indian Women's Cricket team to first test series win England in 2006-07 season. And in the same season they made victory against England, by the help of Jhulan Goswami.
In 2007, Jhulan was a member of Asian Squad in Afro- Asia tournament in India.
In 2008, she took captaincy from Mitali Raj and held till 2011.
She also became the fourth woman to reach 100 wickets in ODI at Asia Cup.
She led India in 25 ODIs.
She has scored 1593 runs with three 50s.
In ODI she has 919 runs in 153 matches.
Where in 2011, India failed to win, she took 6 wickets for 31 runs against New Zealand.
She also has 50 wickets in 60 T20 internation.
Goswami was part of the Indian team to reach the team lost to England by nine runs.
She has many achievements which is describing in achievements box.
Achievements:
2008- the fourth women to reach 100 wickets in ODIs at Asia Cup.
She has 40 test wickets in her name in 10 matches.
She is highest wicket takers. She has 271 international wickets in 223 games.
She achieved the feat during the Women's Quadrangular Series in South Africa and has 181 wickets in 153 matches at an average of 21.76 with two 5 wickets and four 4 wickets hauls.
In May 2017, Goswami became the leading wicket-taker in ODIs when she took her 181st wicket against South Africa at Oval.
