Ethiopia is a country known for producing many talented long distance runners and it is also known for being the ‘homeland’ of our world famous Rastafarian movement as it was the home of Haile Selassie I, Emperor of Ethiopia and prophet of Rastafarianism.

A common unknown fact about Ethiopia however, is that in thirteenth century, the ‘New Jerusalem’ was built in Ethiopia to replace Jerusalem as centre for Ethiopian pilgrims. Christianity was brought to Ethiopia centuries before it even came to Europe!
