Paul Jake Castillo and Kaye Abad are engaged
From best friends
to romantic couple, now
engaged to be married,
showbiz couple Kaye Abad
and Paul Jake Castillo
promised to tie the knot
recently.
On May 17, Kaye cel-
ebrated her 34th birthday
with family and friends at
Bellevue Hotel in Alabang.
Unknown to her, it
would also be the same
night when Paul Jake
would ask her hand for
marriage.
Kaye was seen emo-
tional at the moment Paul
Jake was on his knees
holding out the engage-
ment ring.
“Nagsimula tayo as
friends tapos naging part-
ner in crime kita. Best
friend, tapos hindi mo ta-
laga napigilan ginawa mo
akong boyfriend. Now I
would like to seal it, would
you marry me?” said Paul
Jake to Kaye.
This was answered by
the Kapamilya actress with
a simple “oo,” while wiping
her tears.
Friends like John
Prats and Camille Prats
extended their congratula-
tions through Instagram.
“Napakasaya ko natu-
pad na hinihintay mo,”
said John to Kaye. “Sure
ako magiging masaya
kayo ni @pauljake_cas-
tillo. Ikakasal ka sa best-
friend mo.”
John also teased the
actress saying, “Sisigu-
raduhin kong aattend ako
sa wedding nyo, kung hin-
di ka magkuripot sa head-
count. Hahahaha!”
Camille said that she’s
happy that Kaye is soon
to settle down. “Alam ko
kung gaano mo katagal
hinintay ang araw na ito,”
she said.
“God’s perfect time
and with the right person,
‘eto na nga,” she added.•
