lo Art Exhibit in
Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija-born Filipino folk-rock music icon Heber Bartolome recently paid visit to the Filipino-Canadian community
with his gift of music and visual arts, opening his one-man exhibit of multi-media paintings at the Philippine Consulate in Vancouver with
the theme Harana at Dungaw. Ka Heber was a Fine Arts grad at the University of the Philippines, also expressing his political activism in
music with his band Banyuhay with the nationalistic song “Tayo’y Mga Pinoy” from the mid-70’s, among other popular gems.
Ka Heber enjoying a night out with friends and
fans alike prior to his departure the following
day, continuing his solo tour of North America.
