Megan and Mikael strong at 7 years
Megan Young ’ s relationship with Mikael Daez has been going strong for seven years now . What ’ s their secret ?
“ I think it ’ s because we always keep our communication lines open ,” she says . “ When he does something na hindi ko nagustuhan , I ’ m not afraid to approach him and tell him about it . Ganun din naman siya sa ’ kin . For me , good communication talaga is the key to make a relationship work well .”
She ’ s also thankful that they help each other grow . “ He ’ s the kind of person who ’ s dedicated in everything he does , be it in his business , in acting or in hosting . I like the energy he gives as he always gives his 100 % and that inspires me a lot to also give my very best .”
Does she get jealous when Mikael has kissing or romantic scenes with their co-star Katrina Halili in “ The Stepdaughters ”?
“ Ever since naman , hindi ako selosa . Kahit noong magka-love team sila ni Andrea Torres . I know part ng trabaho namin ‘ yun as actors so okay lang . At saka we always reassure each other na kami lang ang para sa isa ’ t isa . Walang iba . We might do this is mga katrabaho namin , but in the end , ikaw pa rin , walang iba .”
Meantime , their hit afternoon drama , “ The Stepdaughters ,” gets more intense in its new episodes especially after Megan as Mayumi gets special gifts from Gary Estrada . But of course , Gary ’ s own daughter , Katrina Halili , won ’ t take this sitting down and will continue to be hostile and combative when it comes to treating her stepsister Megan .

Carlo and Angelica new movie
Carlo Aquino shared the progress of his upcoming movie with Angelica Panganiban . The actor relayed they just had the pitching with Star Cinema .
“ Baka mag Direk Dan ( Villegas ) kami . Kung sakali , ito ‘ yung first major [ project ] ko with Direk Dan kasi ‘ yung una ko siyang nakatrabaho is with Gerald ( Anderson ) and Arci ( Muñoz ), ‘ yung ‘ Always Be My Maybe ’ na movie parang four days lang ako ,” he said
He said he is elated to be working with Angelica this time in a film project . “ Parang huli namin is MMK 2013 or 2014 , so siyempre excited . Ito kasi big screen , so very excited , tsaka looking forward to that .”
What should their fans expect in their upcoming movie ?
“ May konting kilig , tapos may konting sakit . Kasi siyempre mature na kami , hindi naman pwedeng puro kilig-kilig na lang ,” he replied
Aside from sharing the progress of his movie with Angelica , the actor also relayed that his 2017 movie “ Throwback Today ” will have a rerun on April 20 at the Cine Lokal .
“’ Throwback Today ’ is about isang tao na nalaman niya ‘ yung desktop niya ay may kakayanan na maka-chat ang younger self niya . ‘ Yung role ko si Primo kasi very successful siya academically sa college days . Lahat ng project niya nong college days napre-praise pero nong gumraduate siya hindi pala ganon , so nagbago ‘ yung pananaw niya sa buhay . Nawalan siya ng gana tapos ‘ yung nilabas niya ‘ yung gamit niya kinausap niya ‘ yung younger self niya na huwag niyang gawin ‘ to ,” he said . ●

Dennis and Jennyln get away
Dennis Trillo taped some advanced episodes of “ The One That Got Away ” before he left for his GMA Pinoy TV shows .
“ We ’ re happy that the show is gaining more regular viewers ,” he says . “ The story is also getting to be more and more intriguing with the introduction of more new characters , like Solenn Heussaff and Kelley Day , who are really welcome additions to the show .”
Solenn plays George , one of Dennis ’ ex-girlfriends who is a combination of Lovi Poe , Rhian Ramos and Max Collins .
“ I ’ m happy to be added to the cast of TOTGA as dati ko nang friends sina Lovi , Rhian and Max , also Dennis ,” says Solenn . “ I also like my character , George , which is a boy ’ s name kaya may pagka-boyish din siya , pero may pagka-kalog din and pagkaluka-luka but also sophisticated at the same time . I think viewers will like her .”
Meanwhile , Jennylyn Mercado is back to work after her Holy Week vacation with Dennis Trillo , currently taping “ The Cure ,” about a city where the inhabitants are inflicted with a deadly new virus that turns them into zombies .
“ Excited kami ng mga kasama ko rito , led by Tom Rodriguez , kasi first time kaming makagawa ng ganitong klase ng serye na ibang-ibang talaga from anything we ’ ve done before ,” says Jen . “ Magkahalong horror , drama at suspense ang show .”
The fans of Jen and Dennis are pleased when they saw pictures of Jen with Calix , the love son of Dennis with ex-beauty queen Carlene Aguilar . They are happy that Jen is bonding well with Calix while Dennis is also getting along fine with her own love son , Alex Jazz . In one school activity of Alex Jazz , both Jen and Dennis were there to attend the affair . They ’ re really one happy family . ●
Gerald defends Bea from bashers
When news broke out that Bea Alonzo had unfollowed Gerald Anderson and his “ My Perfect You ” co-star Pia Wurtzbach on Instagram , many speculated this was an indication there was trouble in their relationship
But in an interview with the press last week , Gerald was quick to clarify it was just a simple misunderstanding that had already been resolved .
“ Basta sinagot ko na ‘ yun . Sana maintindihan niyo . Ayoko nang humaba pa . Let ’ s just share positivity . Huwag na ‘ yung puro nega na tao ,” he shared during the Skechers X Camila Hi Lites event on April 8 in Quezon City
Gerald also had a special message to netizens who have been bashing Bea online for what happened .
“ Medyo nasagot ko na ‘ yan nung isang araw . … Ang gusto kong sabihin sa mga bashers , ang mga nag- judge kay Bea na , ‘ Wow , talaga ?’ … Siguraduhin ninyo na perfect kayo bago kayo magsabi ng masama tungkol sa ibang tao , celebrity man or normal na tao . Parang wala tayong karapatan at wala kayo sa sitwasyon . ‘ Yun lang ,” he commented .
The actor also stated he and Bea are doing well and people should not worry about the status of their relationship .
“ Basta ang importante , okay ang lahat at okay kami . Basta okay naman . Basta moving forward tayong lahat . Parang sa dami ng negativity sa mundo , let ’ s focus on being positive . ‘ Yun ang message ko
