I had the opportunity to participate in the Family Meal Program at Ronald McDonald House BC , along with many other members of the Couples for Christ organization . Ronald McDonald House , or RMH , is a charity that , with its many facilities all over the world , helps families of children who are undergoing treatment in a hospital by giving them a place to stay throughout the duration of the child ’ s treatment . On this occasion , both children and adults collaborated together to prepare and cook a large spread of foods for dinner and dessert . We later served this food to a group of about 115 people , comprised of both patients and their family members . It was an extremely enjoyable and worthwhile experience . Seeing all the children , who , in spite of their sickness , were so joyful and upbeat , made me admire their resilience . As a matter of fact , at least
