Anshu Seth & The Undying Flame
Author Reading: Anshu Seth, author of The Undying Flame
Wednesday, July 18, 2018 (6:30 pm – 8:30 pm)
Kensington Branch Library, 1428 Cedar Cottage Mews, Vancouver BC
Long-time journalist Anshu Seth will do a reading and discussion of her
debut book The Undying Flame: A Saga of an Invincible Will. Based on the
true story of a father’s struggle against the Indian healthcare industry after
his son is transfused with HIV infected blood, Anshu Seth has woven tragedy,
struggle and injustice into the story, providing “an insight into the darkest
corners, unknown in the world.” More than anything else, the book is an ef-
fort of Anshu Seth to unveil the plight of a man who refused to buckle down
against all odds.
Anshu Seth was a journalist with The Tribune and The Hindustan Times
for 16 years and her last assignment was as Bureau Head of the Hindustan
Times in Ludhiana. The Undying Flame was launched last March 2018 at the
Chandigarh Press Club in Chandigarh, India.
This is a FREE event.
