Karla proud of her kids
She has tried and failed several
times in love, but Karla Estrada has
no regrets. “Feeling ko, pinalaki kong
lahat na tama. Yes – silang apat,”
said Karla of her four kids.
“I do not spare the rod if they do
wrong. Pero, if they do well naman,
I give them a prize. Even during the
times we could hardly make ends
meet,” she related. Her kids have
different fathers and she never hid
that fact from them.
Her eldest, superstar Daniel
Padilla is the son of Rommel Padilla,
an occasional actor and elder
brother of Robin Padilla. Second
child, JC (for Jose Carlito), is the
son of Naldy Padilla, a musician
who is a cousin of Rommel Padilla.
JC, 22, graduated with a degree in
Business Administration from Mapua
University.

and dad Naldy were both present at
the graduation. Daniel also took time
out from his schedule to throw his
support behind his brother. Karla’s
third child, Magui – short for Margaret
– is 16 and looks like her dad, former
politician Mike Planas. Youngest child
is Carmella, 12 years old. Karla is in
a long-term relationship but would
rather keep the identity of the guy
a secret. Now that her kids are big,
Karla has time for her career.
She is enjoying hosting
“Magandang Buhay” with Melai
Cantiveros and Jolina Magdangal
and will soon be seen in a new movie.
At 43, Karla is as pretty as when she
was starting her showbiz career with
Regal Films in 1987. “But sobrang
overweight,” she added. Well, Karla,
congratulations on having beautiful
children and enjoying a good
