PH bet earns safe spot in Ms . Universe ‘ hot picks ’
With just less than a week before Miss Universe 2016 will be held in the Philippines , pageant groups who have been watching each competitor in have released their respective “ hot picks ” based on the photos , videos , and interviews of each candidate .
Pageant groups like Missosology and Global Beauties are among the many pageant groups that consistently release updated their hot picks as the photos and videos of the candidates are updated in social media .
Philippine bet Maxine Medina is already a mainstay among the lists released by different pageant groups . In the Pre-Arrival Leaderboard Global Beauties released just recently , Maxine was ranked second where Colombia takes the top spot ; Indonesia , France , and Venezuela completed the top five circle .
For Missosology , Maxine is at Number 6 spot while the Thai bet takes the top spot , followed by Brazil Netherlands , Colombia , and Barbados .
But how accurate are these predictions ? Most pageant experts say they are fairly accurate .
The criteria used to get a spot in the Hot Picks are based on everything released in social media . This means the presence of the ladies are already strongly felt even before the competition began and that ’ s a fairly huge thing in itself .
The second reason is that people behind these Hot Picks are pageant fans who have immersed themselves in the world of pageantry all their lives .
Hot Picks are a good sign that the candidate catches the attention of the world and would have a higher probability they would catch the attention of the organizers and the judges . ●
