Piolo ₱ 1M gives for Robin’s Tindig Marawi
Tindig Marawi has received
P10 million so far.
Initiated by actor Robin
Padilla, the fund drive for the
rehabilitation of Marawi has
gotten much support from his
fellow actors.
Next week, according to
Robin’s manager, Betchy Vidanes,
Robin and his group are leaving
for Marawi to personally see where
they can build the homes for those
who were severely affected by the
recent war in Mindanao
A source said Robin wants the
construction to start immeditely.
“His heart bleeds for the
evacuees, especially the children
who stay in the temporary shelters
and tents.
“Kung sabagay, lahat tayo
share Robin’s sentiments,” our
source added.
Among the first to donate to
Tindig Marawi was Piolo Pascual,
an actor who has always been
known for his generosity.
Piolo freely shared P1 million,
his earnings from the blockbuster
“Kita Kita” that he produced with
friend Joyce Bernal, who also
donated P500,000.
According to Piolo, Robin
wants at least 300 families to
benefit from the project.
“Kaya, God willing, baka
dagdagan ko pa ang nai-donate
ko na sa advocacy ni Robin,” Piolo

Meanwhile, the actor has
denied replacing John Lloyd Cruz
in “Home Sweetie Home.”
“He is enjoying his stint sa
sitcom, Piolo does not deny, pero
may mga prior commitments din
siya. Bukod pa sa balitang John
Lloyd will soon return sa sitcom,”
said a source. “’Di pa nga lang
tiyak kung kelan.”
Piolo is currently working
on a new series for Dreamscape
Television Entertainment under the
helm of Antoinette Jadaone. ●
