Philippine Showbiz Today June 22 - July 7, 2017 Jan. 22-Feb.7, 2015 5 Elmo Magalona admits he panicked when he found out about Janella Salvador’s accident The show went on for Janella Salvador even if she figured in an accident while filming the upcoming suspense- thriller Bloody Crayons. Photos of Janella with a huge wound on her forehead made rounds online recently which prompted her fans to worry about her. But, Janella just shrugged off the incident at the recently- Crayons concluded Bloody pictorial. “Minor accident lang. We were filming kasi with harnesses. Nasagi siya ng harness. Eh it’s made out of metal,” she explained. According to Janella, she had no idea that she was grazed by the harness. “Hindi ko nga napansin na may bukol ako until they told me ‘Ano yan?’ Oo nga ano, may bukol pala ako,” she said. Janella was immediately rushed to the hospital after the incident to have a check-up. “Okay lang naman daw nothing serious,” she reiterated. While Janella was cool about what happened, the same couldn’t be said about her love team partner Elmo Magalona. “Kung may shooting lang ako kahapon kiniss ko na lang ‘yan eh,” he blurted out to the press during the interview. Apparently, Elmo wasn’t on the set when it happened. “No, I didn’t have shooting yesterday because I attended the premiere night where our movie’s teaser was shown,” Elmo explained. But what was his reaction when he learned about what happened to Janella? “Gusto ko ngang pumunta sa set para lang makita because she told me na may nangyari sa set nila. And hindi naman kailangan na ma-injure siya,” he said. Elmo was so worried sick that he almost rushed to the set. “Akala ko nung una make up siya. Kasi sa Bloody ang makeup mukhang totoo na siya. ‘Yun pala it’s an injury talaga. I was really worried, konti nalang pupunta na ako sa set,” he ended. Catch Elmo and Janella, along with Ronnie Alonte, Sofia Andres, Diego Loyzaga, Maris Racal, Jane Oineza, Empoy Marquez, and Yves Flores in Bloody Crayons by Topel Lee in cinemas soon.● - M.M. Belmonte
