Alma Moreno saddened by
son Mark Anthony’s arrest
Alma Moreno, who just went
back to acting in The Third Party
after losing in the last election,
says she was really devastated
when she learned that her eldest
son, Mark Anthony Fernandez,
was arrested for possession of
marijuana and is detained at the
Angeles City Jail. She thanked
everyone who expressed their
sympathy for Mark, including
Lorna
Tolentino,
Mark’s
stepmom who also visited him
in prison with his half-brothers,
Ralph and Renz Fernandez.
Her own kids, Vandolph
Quizon (with Dolphy), Yeoj and
Winwyn Marquez (with Joey
Marquez), also visited their half-
brother. Alma now often stays
in Angeles to be close to Mark
and she wants to clarify that
Mark is not getting any special
treatment in jail.
“Basta kung ano ang
patakaran nila sa loob ng jail,
sinusunod namin,” she says.
“Hindi kami humihingi ng special
treatment. Worried lang ako kasi
walang ganang kumain si Mark.
Kahit anong sarap ng pagkaing
dalhin ko sa kanya, hindi siya
masyadong nakakakain. I’m just
asking for prayers para sana,
malampasan namin ang lahat
ng ito.”●

Jennylyn Mercado is not
getting married soon
Jennylyn Mercado has been
quoted as saying she won’t get
married yet, not in the next six
years. How does boyfriend Den-
nis Trillo feel about this? Is he will-

“When they first offered me

we belong to different networks.

we’re both happy about it.”

wedding coordinator. Anne also
falls for Dennis, along with her
best gay friend, Paolo Ballesteros.
If Direk Jun Lana required him to
have a kissing scene with Paolo
Ballesteros in the movie, would
he do it? “Why not? Nagawa ko
na naman ‘yan before in ‘Aishite
Imasu’ with Jay Manalo and I won
so many awards. Basta sa ikaga-
ganda ng movie, okay lang.” ●
