Sam Milby won’t share details of love life
Sam Milby wants to keep his
current relationship with Filipina-
British model-blogger-TV host
Mari Jasmine private.
“She’s not showbiz. She’s a
very private person and I like that.
Pati ’yung pagdating sa relasyon
namin, she wants to keep it
private and I respect that. I want
also to keep it private. I don’t want
to share,” he told media while on
taping break for “Doble Kara,” his
show with Julia Montes.
But why?
“Mahirap kasi kapag sobrang
public ang buhay namin,” he
said.
When he publicly revealed
the relationship, many of his fans
gave their approval, much like
when he was with Anne Curtis.
This makes Sam happy.
“Siguro it’s the timing din,”
he said. “I think kung sinabi ko
siguro noong 2010, 2011 na
may girlfriend na ako ay hindi
nila matatanggap. Kahit papano
malakas talaga ang love team
namin ni Anne (Curtis). They were
hopeful kahit na alam na nila na
may relationship na si Anne na
magkakabalikan kami.”
With the relationship just a
few months old, Sam cannot say
with certainty if Mari Jasmine is
The One.
“Time will tell pero, I’m
hopeful. Sana. Pero hindi naman
ako papasok sa isang relasyon
kung wala akong nakikitang
future,” he explained.
They have had quarrels, with
Sam admitting Mari Jasmine is
the jealous type.
“Hindi lang naman siya. Ako
din naman seloso. I like it na
medyo selosa siya kasi alam mo
‘yung…’di ba, medyo parang may
takot siya na mawala sa ‘yo. When
you love someone you’re afraid to
lose her,” he said.
Sam likes working with
Julia
“Bihira lang kasi ‘yung katulad
ni Julia na walang ka-love team.

Siguro si Bea (Alonzo) or si Juday
(Judy Ann Santos),” he said.
He considers himself lucky
to be still busy ten years into his
career.
“Ang hirap tumagal sa
business na ito lalo na ngayon
na ang daming bago. ‘Yung life
span ng mga artista ngayon
ay hindi masyadong matagal
kasi maraming kakompetisyon.
Napakasuwerte ko na kahit
minsan bulol pa rin sa Tagalog,
I am so blessed with work. This
is the busiest year I’ve ever had.
Meron akong dalawang movies
(Camp Sawi and Third Party) at
isang teleserye (Doble Kara).”•
