She was born in Toronto,
Canada. Grew up in Chicago,
Illinois. But she has found home in
the Philippines. And she decided

“Moving away from home
was definitely challenging for me,

in the Philippines has taught me
so much about myself. During my
senior year of high school I became

the community. From there I was
given numerous opportunities to
project my talent, inner beauty,
and knowledge,” shares Julie
Anne Gerbuyos Ghasemi, or Julz. The multi-talented Julz
