Rayver and Janine together ?
After admitting that he is officially courting Janine Gutierrez , Kapamilya star Rayver Cruz received flaks from bashers , something that he doesn ’ t really mind .
“ It ’ s just fine ,” he avers . “ I ’ m already used to it . I ’ m not affected at all considering the long years I ’ ve been in the ‘ biz . It ’ s simply a matter of opinion anyway .”
Asked what he likes best in Janine , the appealing he says , “ She has lots of endearing qualities actually . For one , she ’ s simple , kind , fun to be with and down-to-earth . She will not make you feel that she ’ s a celebrity .”
Does he think he has a chance to get her sweet yes ?
“ Hopefully . As of now , we ’ re okay---we ’ re getting closer each day . We go out and enjoy each other ’ s company . Let ’ s see how things will turn out eventually ,” states Rayver . ●

Luis , Jessy ready for marriage ?
Jessy Mendiola announced on social media how lucky she is to have a boyfriend like Luis Manzano .
The actress looked gorgeous as she continued to show off her sleek bob – a departure from the voluminous long waves fans are used to seeing her with .
It follows her short but sweet message about Manzano , saying that she ’ s lucky to be in a relationship with the television host .
The couple have been together for more than a year .
In an interview late July , Manzano said that he and Mendiola have given some serious thought about settling down .
“ When we talk about it , alam mo na may seriousness about it . There ’ s really the forethought na we take those words seriously . There are so much behind those words being spoken ,” he said . ●

Christian recently represented the Philippines at a concert , part of the golden anniversary celebration of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ( ASEAN ), which also featured his contemporaries from member nations .
“ It feels good because we are able to share music , we are able to understand each other even if we cannot properly speak to each other ,” he said in an interview a day before the show held at the BGC Amphitheater . “ We are different but we are one .”

Later , Joshua was featured in the hit movies , “ Barcelona : A Love Untold ,” and “ Vince & Kath & James .”
Loisa had her share of projects , too . She was featured in the series , “ Be My Lady ,” “ Wansapanatym ” and “ My Dear Heart .” She also headlined the “ Four of a Kind ” concert with Maris Racal , Krystal Fulgar and Sue Ramirez . ●

The name Empoy and heartthrob are hardly synonymous .
Often , it ’ s the images of Piolo Pascual and John Lloyd Cruz that make ladies ’ hearts skip a beat .
In just a little more than two weeks , his movie with actress Alessandra de Rossi has made P230 million . Suddenly , Empoy ’ s a star and has female fans fawning over him and his striking moustache .
He also found himself a leading lady , which seems to be a prerequisite nowadays for those who want to make it big in local showbiz , with his tandem with De Rossi referred to as “ AlEmpoy .”
He admitted to being overwhelmed by it all . It ’ s been 14 years since he first made his television appearance , but he never felt this kind of love from Filipinos before .
Turning emotional , he said that the only reason he kept working hard was because all he wanted to do was to make people laugh . Everything else was a Godgiven bonus .
The actor said that he could have left for another country , seeking a fresh start , but he refused the offers . “ Hindi ko maiwan iyong trabaho ko sa industriya kasi hangga ’ t may napapasaya po ako at tumatawa sa akin , lalo ko po itong mamahalin ,” he said .
He will have more chances to do so , as there is talk about a new film pairing him again with De Rossi .
Like “ Kita Kita ,” which was shot in Japan , their next project will be shot abroad , with rumors pointing towards Iceland . “ Paniguradong mamahalin ulit nila ang bagong proyekto namin ,” he promised . ●
