PRA launches exclusive gathering
for retail bosses
The PRA has successfully launched its first-ever Retail Executive Circle
(RetailRex) Breakfast Forum last June where some of the country’s top retail
CEOs, presidents, and top level executives gathered in an exclusive and small
assembly to hear up-to date insights from global company leaders—Amazon
Web Services and Cisco.
The RetailRex, PRA’s maiden executive program, is attended by a maximum of
20-25 top retail business leaders. It aims to provide attendees exclusive and
fresh insights and strategic data and information on retailing in a formal yet
intimate setting that is not only conducive to learning, but likewise promotes
camaraderie and encourages networking and collaboration among the
attendees.
Amazon Web Services Head of Digital Innovation for APAC Dipen Mehta talked
about the strategies for innovation adapted by Amazon by putting customers
first. It centered on the company’s goal of becoming the world’s most customer-
centric company.
He shared Amazon’s principles of “Working Backward” which start by identifying
the customer

and
working
on
these through
