Expressions leads the World’s
largest art lesson
The record for the World’s Largest Art Lesson was
successfully broken by the Philippines which has been
officially validated and honored by The Guinness World of
Records when 16,692 students converged to attend an art
class last February 24.
The class was held at the historic Quezon Memorial.
The students congregated in the morning and followed
a lesson plan approved by Guinness and taught by a
professional educator. The students then held in unison
the artworks they have done to signal that the record was
broken.
The event, officially called “PINASayang Sining” was
organized by Expressions Stationery Shop in celebration
of their 30th anniversary. The Department of Education
(DEP-ED) Quezon City Division and Quezon City
Government also supported the event.
It was witnessed by top Quezon City officials led by Mayor
Herbert Bautista, Expressions, DEPED and NCCA officials.
