The coffee table book also contains remarkable milestones in the Philippine retail industry and the PRA‘ s history in the last 40 years. The publication is the brainchild of PRA Board members – Mr. Mars Chua and Mr. Jorge Mendiola.
Moreover, the coffee table book is the retail industry’ s way to recognize the success stories of the President’ s Awardees and to celebrate their relentless dedication and invaluable contributions to the retail industry.
“ As the Philippine retail industry continues to grow and expand, the PRA salutes and praises our 12 retail icons for building the path to success--- not only for the industry, but for the nation as a whole,” Mr. Mendiola said.
“ Through your businesses, you were able to change peoples’ lives for the better, as well as drive the nation’ s economic growth. There is a vast ripple effect to every success and milestone that each one of our retail pioneers achieved,” added Mr. Chua.
Through the commemorative publication, the PRA aims to immortalize the 12 President’ s awardees’ contributions to the retail industry in print that can be read and shared to many other Filipinos who can be touched by their real life stories.
