Old Friends & New Partnership:
Diadem & Redgoodss Merge Acquisition
It gives me great pleasure to announce the coming together of Redgoodss and Diadem.
As an existing Redgoodss’ s client, partner or friend, you will already be familiar with Redgoodss’ s twelve-year track record of providing clients value through its integrated and multidisciplinary design for retail, leisure, and entertainment services throughout Asia.
On the other hand, Diadem was founded in Australia in 2000 and has been operating in Asia since 2009. It has established an office in Hong Kong in 2015. With six offices across the Asia Pacific, its specialization of multi-site re-branding environments, signage and wayfinding is complementary to Redgoodss’ s multi-disciplinary service offering specifically focused on retail leisure and the entrainment sector.
Why the merger?
The directors of both companies are well-known to each other having worked and collaborated together for over the last 30 years on some very significant projects on a global scale, as well specifically focused in New Zealand and Australia.
That’ s what makes this merger different. We share a rich history, with a long career experience in retail design and corporate rebranding. We truly believe that coming together means that this unparalleled level of experience can be shared more broadly to benefit all of our clients, delivering world-class solutions and a local and Regional level.
Terry Waterhouse will continue his role as director, leading the Hong Kong / Asian office of fourteen multi-disciplined designers and project managers. Terry has lived and worked in Hong Kong and the Asian Region for over 22 years and brings to each project a wealth of knowledge garnered over three decades of international experience including having worked in the Philippines for more than 20 years.
We wish to reassure you that apart from the name change of Redgoodss to Diadem, our commitment to our clients, partners and friends remains unchanged and your projects will continue to be handled by the same team with the added support and benefits of a larger network of design and management specialists across the Asia Pacific.
Our primary purpose in the Philippines is to continue the work that we have started at Redgoodss to help local retailers and developers raise the bar, help challenge the status quo and improve the quality of life in the Philippines.
We are always committed in helping clients to enable design that creates positive customer experiences in the built environment.
At Diadem, we encourage progressive thinking, passion and the pursuit of all things new. With focus and purpose, we challenge convention and strive for creative excellence. We believe in innovation. We believe in thinking differently. Good design, clear communication and quality delivery translates to improved customer experiences, consistent branding and better project results.
Our aim is simple- to explore possibilities and deliver smarter outcomes. We provide a fully-integrated plan, develop and deliver project solution with a holistic approach or an entire project lifecycle. This means is that creative solutions are developed with both innovation and build ability as key performance criteria.
Our people represent a diverse range of design and management disciplines with a collective goal of inspiring and energizing. We are approachable, customer-focused and we like solving new challenges.
We work with other creative firms, small companies, big business and government agencies. While our work can be seen across 40 countries, our individual offices work and act locally. We approach all projects from a user centric perspective. Each project has its problems to be solved and no outcome is the same.
This Merge Acquisition which is based on 30-year history and relationship cherished by the shareholders of Diadem and Terry Waterhouse has successfully maintained our on-going relationships with different parts of the world at different times of our career. We believe that this provides Diadem with a strong foundation on which the new business entity is built on and equally demonstrates the loyalty and integrity of the directors of the company.
We look forward to continuing working with our existing Philippine clients, maintaining long term relationships and having the opportunity to engage with new clients.

PHILIPPINES SET TO BE ASIA’ S... from page 5
“ We expect to see fast growth in both the number of outlets and sales for modern grocery retailers.”
Domestic multi-format retailers dominate modern trade and have shown robust growth over the last five years, with SM Retail, Puregold and Robinsons the dominant grocery retailers in the country. SM Retail, for example, is focusing on expanding its mid-sized and small-format stores and continues to expand beyond Metro Manila; in 2016, 80 % of its store openings were outside this area.
Meanwhile, Puregold and Robinsons share a similar ambition to expand further beyond the Luzon area with their multi-channel strategies. 7-Eleven, the fastest-growing retailer in the Philippines according to IGD data, is also expanding its stores into smaller towns across the nation. She added that online grocery shopping in the Philippines is still in its infancy, but many bricks and mortar retailers have already been experimenting with their own ecommerce solutions.
“ There is a wealth of opportunity for retailers and suppliers looking to grab a slice of the action in this rapidly evolving market.”
