The news came in on the radio as I was driving my boys to school one morning . It ’ s the voice of a man describing the latest findings regarding charities . They ’ ve found that in the last decade many middle-aged women in their 40s and 50s are presenting themselves at the charities seeking assistance more than ever . It ’ s an unfortunate thing when a marriage breaks up that the women who have decided to sacrifice their career for their family ends up on the street because they have no steady source of income after the separation . I thought to myself , how is this fair ? While waiting for my daughter to finish her swimming lessons , I met a taxi owner . He ’ s almost 70 but he can ’ t stop driving as he has two taxi licences to pay for and now Uber has disrupted his industry and halved his income overnight . I thought to myself , he seemed like an honest hard worker . He should be retired and enjoying life right now … Back at home , as I was trying to learn a new skill on You- Tube , a random story popped up describing that this next generation of kids is the first generation who are pessimistic about their future . Normally , the next generation has bigger ideas and bolder visions than their parents . I thought to myself , what ’ s happened to all their dreams and aspirations ? One night , I prayed for some guidance on what I should be doing in this world . And the Lord answered my prayers . He works in mysterious ways but when He acts , everything just falls into place .
I can ’ t remember how the meeting came about but my mother , Lettie Aguilar and I realised that she had over 30 years of trading experience and I had over 26 years in IT . Together , we thought we could bring about something good that everyone could benefit from . We then combined our knowledge and experiences to come up with an easy-tounderstand step-by-step way of introducing anyone who is interested to the wonderful and exciting world of Leveraged
Forex . In a nutshell , homemakers can learn this new skill while the kids are at school and at the same time supplement the family income . The husband doesn ’ t have to be the only breadwinner in the family . For the taxi owners ( for any business owner for that matter ) this new skill can provide another source of income that will allow them to weather this storm . For the next generation , who are our future , the young members of our community can learn this new skill and learn the ropes of a lucrative source of cash flow at a very young age . Basically , this is what the rich teach their children . Last week , I was talking to a friend of mine who is a property investor . His loan application was declined by the bank because he could only show a single source of income - his job . I told him , “ You ’ re in luck ! I am launching my website this week !” I told him that I had something to share that could significantly improve his cash flow .
Come to think of it , for our senior members of our community who love to pitch in their life experiences and knowledge , this would place another dimension to their meetings in the plaza where they could discuss their analytical interpretations of how the market moves at a particular time . Not only would this keep dementia at bay but result in numerous robust discussions on who was right and who was mistaken in their views . I have been blessed with many things during my life . Teaching students and passing on my knowledge is my way of giving back to the community and hopefully many of my students will go on to be successful contributors to society as a whole and leave lasting legacies of their own .
