Pinoy Fiesta Vancouver is celebrating its 7th year in the city with more entertainment , more food and more fun activities for the whole family . Fiesta Day ” in the City of Vancouver , this year ’ s celebration will be attended by many food booths and Filipino organizations . Entertainment will be given by different cultural groups such as the Ati-atihan from the province of Aklan , the Sinulog honouring Senor Sto . Nino from Cebu City , the Penangbega / Igorot from the mountains of central Luzon and Baguio , the Masskara from BacolodCity , and many more colourful cultural presentations . There will also be live performances from popular local artists and bands , as well as song / dance studios in the city .
This year , Megan Young , actress , model , TV Host , VJ , peace ambassador and beauty queen , will grace the event . She was the first ever Filipina crowned Miss World .
