Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles
A team of “puliscredibles” played by Sotto, Martin and Mendoza takes
on a mission to fight crime in their area.
Ferrer said this film showcases another side of the police not shown on
Martin’s primetime teleserye Ang Probinsyano.
“Kasi kung sa [If on] Probinsyano, they’re having problems with the
police, here it’s showing another side of the police,” Ferrer said.
Ang Probinsyano earlier drew flak from police over its supposed “unfair”
depiction of them, prompting the Philippine National Police to temporarily
withdraw its support for the program until after a dialogue with producers was
held.

One of the highlights of the movie is the tango dance number of Jessy
and Jericho. Lending them support are Derek Ramsey, Jessy’s boyfriend Luis
Manzano and Luis’ ex beau, Jennylyn Mercado.
Mary, Marry Me
The romantic comedy movie
tells the story of two sisters whose
relationship is challenged because of
one man. Mary Anne (Alex Gonzaga)
comes home to marry Pete (Milby)
who happened to have a romantic
past with her sister Mary Jane (Toni
Gonzaga). Things become even more
odd as Mary Jane, a professional
wedding organizer, takes the helm of
the preparation for the event.
Ferrer said it is “only in the
movies” that audiences would see
former sweethearts Milby and Toni
Gonzaga together in a film produced
by her husband, Paul Soriano of
Ten17P.
Director: RC Delos Reyes
Casts: Toni Gonzaga, Alex
Gonzaga, Sam Milby, Bayani Agbayani

Leana’s hotel, where she also stays in
with her eight-year-old sister played by
Villamor.
Ferrer said viewers can expect
stunning visuals in this fast-paced
thriller by Laranas.

In an interview with the
Inquirer, Jessy admitted that the
offer to do the movie came at a time when she was already considering quitting
acting—she didn’t have any serious projects for almost two years, she said.
“The script fell on my lap when I was feeling that there was nothing
for me in show biz anymore, and that I should just go back to school,” she
declared. “I guess God has other plans for me. This role brought back my
passion for acting.”
At the helm is Jay Abello, who is known for his successful directorial
projects such as “Pinay Beauty,” “Flotsam” and “Red,” also starring Jericho.
The romantic comedy is a coproduction of Quantum Films, Star Cinema and
