Timmy Pavino renders his golden voice at UFCABC Gala
Acclaimed as Seattle’s Asian-
American Premier Pop Balladeer by
the Washington media, a favorite of
many and known in the industry as The
Pop Balladeer, Tim Pavino performed
a medley of Broadway hits to warm
up the crowd at the UFCABC 120th
Philippine Independence Day Gala
at the Westin Bayshore in Downtown
Vancouver.
The young balladeer swept the
audience’s feet with his baritone voice
and youthful charm and smile, and
PNT and PNC-Balitang Vancouver
had a chat with the young performer
before the show.
“I am excited to perform in
Vancouver as always,” Tim shares.
Seattle, Washington is only a few hours
away from Vancouver, and he says the
Filipinos in the city are heartwarming.
“I would like to invite everyone to
come to our shows in California and
in Burien, Washington on July 1 and 8
respectively. It’s a really busy schedule,
but it’s always a treat to perform for
Pinoys,” he adds.
Tim says the July 1 performance
in Vallejo, California entitled, “A
Journey of One Thousand Songs of
Cecile Azarcon”, who actually is his
aunt, and who composed famous
songs, “I Think I’m In Love” and “So
Pavino, who was seated a few chairs
away from him.
Tim invites all Vancouverites to
their show in the US, especially the
one in Burien, Washington on July 8.

“The show will also feature Odette

Morales, Fe delos Reyes and Chiqui
Pineda,” he shares. Kuh Ledesma
jokes that he shouldn’t call him tita,
but Ms. Kuh, so that their age gap isn’t
too obvious.
Asked whether his youthful
charms have gained a lucky lady, he
says it is still far from his thoughts.
“Maybe in a distant future po. I’m not
in a hurry,” smiling at mom, Vallie
