“ I am thankful that I attended today ’ s orientation with Pathways to Canada . It was one of the best decisions I ’ ve made as we prepare for our family ’ s migration . The staffs were very accommodating and patient in answering our queries . It made me feel a lot better knowing that I am more equipped with the things I have to know before my landing such as settlement , education , benefits , taxation , job search , and many more . Prior to my visit in this office , I was so confused , and lost . I can say I am now confident in facing the new chapter of our lives in Canada “. Cindy said , one of Pathways to Canada clients shared after the orientation on January 31 , 2018 .
Pathways to Canada holds group orientations every week , discussing settlement , employment , taxation and benefits , and encouraging them to utilize the available tools provided by the Government of Canada for pre-arrival and post arrival services . To inspire them , Pathways
invites successful immigrants to share their stories as they climbed their way up to success .
On January 31 , 2018 , Dra . Gloria Samosa , braved the heavy traffic and the steamy weather in the metro as she desires to inspire these emigrants by sharing her migration story , her struggles to where she is now . “ It is very important to surround yourself with positive successful people , don ’ t let other people pull you down , focus on your dreams , do what you love to do , pursue your passion , she added . Continue to be humble , never boast , be patient and you will find yourself living your dream . Most of all don ’ t forget to give back , we have several missions here in the Philippines helping the needy , that ’ s the most satisfying she concluded .
